Up for grabs is a set of used African Outback load bars for $250.00 plus shipping. These were purchased from Slee Offroad in 2007 and subsequently replaced by a full length African Outback roof rack, also purchased from Slee Offroad. The loads bars were cut down to 49.5” to accommodate the width of a 2007 FJ Cruiser. The load bars were used to carry an African Outback root-top tent for approximately 5-months.
The mounting brackets and hardware are also included with the load bars. If interested and/or you require additional information or photos let me know and I will dig them out of storage. Have a great day!

Edit: The price was adjusted after I remembered the support brackets were of different heights to accommodate the FJ Cruiser roofline. The load bars are 49.5" in length; previously I guessed they were 53”. In addition, and after laying my eyes on them for the first time in numerous months, I found the following:
The support brackets for each load bar are of different heights; two (2) are 2” and adjustable up to 3” while the other two (2) are 3” and adjustable up to 4”. This was necessary on the FJ Cruiser to follow the curvature of the roofline. Additional supporting brackets can be had at Slee Offroad. I am not sure of the cost, but remember someone saying they were in the neighborhood of $25.
The feet, which are black in the photos and secure the support brackets to the roof, were modified at Slee to accommodate the layout of the FJ Cruiser attachment points. I believe Slee used Landcruiser/LX470 feet and trimmed off a section to secure to the FJ Cruiser. Anyhow, the support brackets and feet can be purchased through Slee Offroad if required by your needs.
There are two (2) holes drilled in each load bar to allow the African Outback roof top tent to secure to the load bars. If you have an African Outback roof top tent then you are ready to go. If not, other holes will have to be drilled through the extruded aluminum. These load bars are stout enough that the existing holes will not affect the bearing capacity of the load bars, when used as they were intended.
Hopefully this answers a few of your questions.
