Aftermarket control arms for 3rd gen.

Hi, I picked up a new ride a month ago. It has about 96k on it. I'm looking to get ride of some suspension noises and knocks. I have seen many auto part retailers offering complete upper an lower control arms at a pretty reasonable price. Anyone have any experience with these and the quality of the installed bushings and ball joints?
Thanks in,advance.

You're not likely to hear anything nice about the auto part store offerings. They don't compare well to the OEM, quality or durability-wise.

Mitsu made some pretty beefy arms, and you'll find that replacing a ball joint on one is one of the easiest jobs on the vehicle. I'd recommend rebuilding what you've already got with OEM ball joints and bushings (or maybe even spend a little on the Siberian Bushings offered by Adventure Driven Design...that's what I'm doing currently).

Thanks for the info. I have already looked into the siberian bushings. And the bolt on ball joints were a good surprise.
