Is anyone running airbags in the rear of their trucks? I've kinda been tossing this idea around in my head since my last Tacoma. Most of the time I'm not carrying a lot of weight so a softer suspension is fine but every now and then I load it up. I use the truck as a daily driver and I'm not into rock crawling- I'm more likely to have a couple of kayaks on top and camping gear in the back or just making a run to Lowes.
My old Tacoma had Rancho RS9000s on the rear and it was nice to be able to adjust them when towing the boat for example- slide under the back, three clicks per side and good to go.
I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to adjust the bags for whatever I was carrying. I noticed Firestone catalogs a set for the the various year Tacomas (I saw one site that listed the 05s and 06s too). Obviously you'd have to measure the lifted height to get the proper size.
Anyone have any thoughts on adding a set of Deavers with a set of airbags for loads? I know it would limit suspension travel some, but again, I'm not running this truck hard.
