Help.. I have scored another fuel tank for the truck and I'm going to mount it on the passengers side but air cleaner must be moved.

Has and one raised the air cleaner on there truck or moved forward. Pictures would be lovely.

not much help with the air cleaner sorry, but after 3 years of breaking tank straps on 649 - the straps that have a "T" that fits in a "keyhole" at the top - I figured they break on rough roads when tank is full. 35mm or longer M10 bolt welded to the end of the strap, so the head forms the "T", seems to be working ok.

When you find the solution to the air cleaner I would also use it, mine is "too low" (or the water is too high).

I had a lot of trouble with the cylindrical fuel tanks rotating after long milage on rough roads. Finally removed straps and put a strip of rubber belting between strap and the tank. No more rotation.

Sorry if off topic!

Cheers guys

My tanks are square but rubber is the way to go.

I just need rotate the air cleaner to east west instead of up down
