I have an F-150 and am wondering what's the right way to level the truck out when carrying its max payload (2100lbs) through Baja and Mainland Mexico? Not planning on any hard wheeling, but if there's a trail to an empty beach, I want to take it. I'm planning on running E rated General Grabber AT 2's and Powerstop HD pads and rotors for the front and rear, but other than that, I feel like I'm pretty lost. It looks like a Hellwig rear stabilizer will help with the weight, reducing body roll and generally tighting the truck up. It sounds like airbags will be a better choice than adding a leaf or changing out to HD leafs. What brands would you recommend for our intended use? Doesn't seem so, but would I still need to upgrade the rear leaf springs when using an airbag? Originally, I was going to go with Fox 2.0's or Bilstein's all the way around for shocks/coilovers to level the truck. Is it still an option? Any opinions on either? I'd like to run a slightly larger tire if possible for additional ground clearance, but with all the weight back there it feels like I'm asking for trouble. I'm still not used to this thing after driving a Fit and a 2wd mini Frontier for the better part of 20 years. On trips it back from the gravel pit, it felt like the front tires were barely touching on the Frontier.
