Alibaba campers

Has anyone order a camper off Alibaba? I just placed a deposit for a hard sided pop up canopy camper from a company called Qian it’s there TP07B model. I’ve seen a couple of people on YouTube already order one from them and seem to have good luck. They make them custom to your truck I ordered it for my F150 with a 6.5ft bed. Total cost is going to be $5k shipped to my door including any tariffs. I get it, it’s a chines camper so I’m not expecting the quality to be 100% top notch but its just a canopy camper and I’m not going to pay $13-20k for just a topper camper. Here is there website. I did actually pay my deposit through Alibaba for a little extra payment security but I’ll keep the page updated.

Looks kinda cool. Interested to see what it ends up looking like in person. I cant imagine it is all that different from the US camper companies. I imagine a lot of the components are from over seas.

Do you know what the fb group is called? Not sure about a cease and desist every camper company now make similar or exactly the same style campers. Tune, OVRLND, topo all pretty much make same style of bump out pop up campers now.

But hitaus has the patent on the hardsided folding camper and the way it folds. All the others are fabric. I have a patent on a topper basically like 2 hiatus stacked which I will market as stand alone diy topper for vans. The site is like alibaba camper group. Send me your name and I can invite you. I joined to see their quality I see a few design flaws

I've been watching for feedback on the new TP07W from them. It's the wide version of TP07B. With Alibaba you don't really fret about customer service, you fix things as they come up. You fret about delivery issues and damage, although many manufacturers have legit shipping/logistics chops, insurance etc. I've been shocked at the level of customer service on the Ali's. Much better than many American outlets in general.

And yes the pop up mechanism is a direct ripoff of Hiatus, so do with that what you will.
