Hi to the Expo community, My partner Jen and I are leaving Australia shortly to start an overland journey across Asia and hopefully Africa. I haven't posted here on Expedition portal for a long time so thought I had better get on and post our plans. We have met some people via Expo that are along our route through various blogs and found many little pieces of information so hopefully as we travel along we can post some relevant info for others also!

We did this route (UK to Australia) in reverse last year, if you have any questions whilst on the road please feel free to email us. We can probably point you in the right direction.

On your blog I saw you have a 3 month multi-entry (assume business) visa? is this the case? Your route through to Europe is going to be pretty intense if that is the case

Enjoy Russia, it is probably our favourite country out of everywhere we have been... and we have been to quite a few.

See you are ending in Cape Town - may as well continue to Cape Agulhas, the southern tip of Africa, along the garden route and finish in Port Elizabeth. By all accounts it is easier and cheaper to ship out of PE than the other ports in South Africa.

Yuri has been great to deal with as you know! We have experienced Russian bureaucracy at it's finest in the last couple of day's and without Yuri and Svetlana I think we may have found ourselves enjoying Vladivostok for a considerably longer period of time!!!!!! regards for the moment - Justin....
