Not to steal "Malibubts" thunder, but we also traveled across the UP last week. Rain cut our camping trip short, but we still had a great time.
Our trip mirrored their route once across the "Might Mac" and we endured the same weather conditions.
Crossing the Mackinac Bridge. Third longest suspension bridge in the world, but #1 scariest...when you throw the high winds into the mix.
Guess, l could have used the snorkel...and saved some bucks in toll fees.
Pretty green in some areas.
Old hunting camp.
We were a little late to help with the recovery...lol.
Tahquamenon falls, second largest east of the Mississippi.
First camp, state park...but was my wife's first camping trip...so no bathrooms were a deal breaker. Her first night sleeping in the rover was...quote ..."that wasn't bad".
Another reason l wanted her along...this would look totally different if I was cooking. Unrecognizable would probably be the correct term.
Superior on a calm day.
