For Sale: Custom-Built, Lightweight Aluminum Camper

I am reluctantly offering for sale my meticulously crafted, custom-built aluminum camper, specifically designed to fit a 6ft truck bed and currently mounted on my Ford F-250. Having dedicated considerable time, thought, and effort to this exceptional build, I find it necessary to sell in order to fund other builds/projects. This camper is unique, high-quality, durable, and lightweight engineered for overlanding and extended adventures..

Key Features:

• Construction: The camper is constructed entirely from aluminum, ensuring exceptional durability while remaining lightweight. The walls and roof feature 2 inches of R-10 insulation, complemented by insulated tent fabric (replaced less than six months ago) for superior thermal regulation, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. A diesel heater enhances comfort in colder conditions.

• Windows and Ventilation: The camper is equipped with three mesh windows in the tent section and two premium Arctic Tern windows on the body. A Maxx Deluxe roof fan ensures excellent airflow.

• Exterior Features:

• 8.5 ft Thule Hideaway awning for shaded outdoor living.

• HotTap heated shower system for on-the-go convenience.

• Four locking Rotopax containers (two for water, two for diesel, connected to the heater).

• Two 5 lb propane tanks mounted on locking American Adventure Labs aluminum holders.

• Interior Amenities:

• A fold-out queen-size bed with a comfortable Nemo Roamer Double Sleeping Pad.

• A fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave, sink, two-burner stove, Dometic 55 fridge, and a dining table.

• Two water tanks with a combined capacity of approximately 20-25 gallons, plus a gray water tank.

• Ample storage with three large compartments under the driver-side bench, aluminum shelves, and mesh storage throughout.

• Power System:

• Powered by a Bluetti AC200L, charged via 600 watts of roof-mounted solar panels or a Bluetti D40, which enables charging through the vehicle’s alternator.

• Dimmable King Pin LED lighting installed both inside and outside for excellent lighting

I have put countless hours into this build from designing, building, testing and modifying. I truly believe this is one of the most one of the most durable, lightweight, and well-planned campers you could ever find.

Price: $25,000 or best offer (OBO).

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fantastic build. Can you tell me more about the tent insulation and the diamond headliner you used? It looks great and seems like it also insulates?

Built in between the fabric of the tent. I sewed in
Insulated Shade Lining Fabric. It’s supposed to keep in up to 80% of heat normally lost through windows in winter, and blocks up to 79% of the unwanted solar heat gain…. Or that’s what the website that I bought it from said. And the headliner is some fabric I found at Joannes.. but the roof has 2 inches of r10 insulation. That the fabric is mounted to. Also, the walls has 2 inch r10 installation in them as well.

Thanks, I’m a van guy, so not in the market for a camper. But if I were, I would be all over yours. I love the thought that you put into it and the “built not bought“ ethos.

The shade lining fabric sounds perfect to insulate the tent on my poptop and all of my windows.
