Amphibious truck for sale

Hi,

currently there is an amphibious truck for sale in Germany. :REExeSwimmingHL:

If someone is looking for something really special as base for an amphibious camper and is a able to spend more than $600.000 for the truck this is the chance. :hehe:

I have nothing to do with the seller and would have bought this extraodinary rig myself if I had won the lotto jackpot. :punk03:

Now you have got me thinking....

Now I'm wondering how to build some of those side floats for my Dodge Power Wagon... I've got the trolling motor already!:hehe:

The tricky part is making sure the balance point is correct... wouldn't want to go nose down in the river the first time.:snorkel:

Anybody know a heavy duty bladder manufacturer?

Thanks, my wife will love this...

That is a neat concept that could be carried over to just about any 4x4 or 6x6 platform with some work.

That could come in really handy if you didn't want to wait for a ferry!

The Brits (and I think the Aussies, too) had landrovers fitted with inflatable pontoons. One pic I saw online was a scan of a very old-looking picture of a 109" Series II, so the idea isn't new.

I agree with Metcalf, though, the idea could be incorporated on just about any vehicle without too much effort.

I'd recommend multi-compartment, very durable, pontoons. :)
