Not new to the Portal but new to a 2003 AWD Express, been hanging out in the Range Rover section mostly as I am a glutton for punishment and own 3..... Gonna retire my 92 E150 conversion and move on with the Express. Lots of good info here, I am just looking to do some boon docking nothing serious, I just picked her up today in Dallas and had to put on tires (265/75-16) just to get her home (300 miles) all else was un-eventfull and a joy to drive. Now to start fixin the little things first....

Looks like a great place to start or just leave it alone depending on where you plan to travel..

Well between the Holidays I got some stuff ordered. Put in a couple of new headlights, the old ones were scratched badly by the PO trying to polish them. Also installed a new radio with GPS, Bluetooth, rear camera, etc. It is a Chinese no name but so far it works well, the original radio was gone and a crappy single din poorly installed. While in the dash fixed a few dash lights that were out and added some usb ports, wired up some switches for my new driving lights which I need to install. Still in the "discovery mode" seeing what else needs to be done. Also went to a local alarm shop and had a new remote programmed for the Sidewinder alarm with remote start, I did not get a remote in the purchase. Glad to see it functions as it should without any further work. It does need front shocks, feels like my old Lincoln just kinda floating down the road, but will wait till I decide on some lift. Started removing the graphics but that will take some time. More to come.
