Sat in my first Montero today. like the view from the driver's seat.

On paper sounded good, 142K, 1998. the dealer's lot right next to the slaughter plants didn't stop me. Like Willy Wonka looking for the golden ticket, l eagerly opened the drivers door...Jackpot an orange sticker! Calm yourself, deep breath, one two three. Think what did the guys at the portal say to look for?

The other stickers on the back door silhouettes of a family of four showed that she been well used. Wasn't able to open many doors the handles were missing on all but 2. Leather back seats torn, front bumper end piece came off in my hand, missing lamp. No leaks around the headliner...
They had her for a month, came from the auctions up north, but she'll be back together come Friday. Teal green 3200 cash she can be yours
Got the fever...
will keep my CL watch on...
Thanks guys

wisdom prevails

Checkout http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/3076816394.html The owner has put so much love into his truck. If you know someone who is seriously looking send em here. So cherry, almost got me to spend my emergency fund.

Until common sense prevailed its not the economy to buy toys for toys sake.

going to forget about Montero's and try to fall back in love with my F350 6.0 & Prius

Take care guys, thanks for helping a Nubie learn your world.

This is my good friends car. I can vouch for this car. It is a solid rig. He spend good amount of $$$ on maintenance. Its in very good condition. I would highly recommend it. Im telling him not to sell it but he needs a truck so this has to go. He has a safari snorkle which he paid over $400 for and a SmittiBuilt Winch with a solid plate.

Well I'm glad you agree. Perhaps he likes to negotiate and is simply coming in high so the buyer will offer something closer to what your friend 'really' wants for it.

Only risk in doing that though is you will also scare off some buyers.
