Just got it a week ago. I replaced an eight year old F-150, and simply wanted to downsize to a more capable vehicle. I've wanted a Toyota truck since I was 16 over two decades ago. It's going to be used as a DD, hauling Boy Scouts and gear to the mountains and dogs to the beach.

The build part of the thread. This is either going to be the quickest or most drawn out. I ordered a Leer 100R. That's it for now. Sliders, OME lift, ARB bumper are all on the radar but won't be added until well down the road.

Got the canopy today.

Next up sliders. I wanted a set of Elite sliders as they are local enough I could drive down and pick them up. Turns out the owner grew up and got a real job (which is a good deal for him). Now I'm leaning toward a set of BAMF sliders. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I like my bamf sliders. Very solid, worth the wait.

I got mine from Armortech/4xinnovations. Solid construction and look nice, too. You can see pics in my build thread in this post.

Tacomaworld.com has a whole section on them. Lots of great choices.

nice topper i have the same one.

I ordered it without the glass rear hatch.
ended up taking off the bottom weather stripping
because it started to rub the clear coat off the top
of my tailgate. I also had the inner part of the topper
lined with carpet so in the hot summer days my dog
doesnt over heat back there.
