Another Build Thread! Utah

At the beginning of the winter I had to opportunity to buy a cheap 2001 quigley E-350. It was a bit rough and had 200k miles on it. Everything seemed to work great though. It drove straight and the 4x4 worked. I was told the engine was fully replaced by the local ford dealer 80,000 miles ago because of a major mess up by a Burt brothers (still working on getting all the paper work for that). I drove it all winter as my snowmobile hauler. I thought it was the coolest enclosed trailer around. All winter I daydreamed about making it like all the Sportsmobiles I see on here. I started looking for tops on here and my local classified everyday. I am happy to say I just found one! Well I found a whole van. I just bought at auction a 2010 e250 with 350k miles on it. I have not decided if I am just going to try to transfer the top or swap the whole body onto my 4x4. From what I have read it should be fairly easy, I will just have to do some wire adapting. So I am here starting this build thread for some advice and to share my progress of course!

Thanks Guys!

I just finished a body swap to a 4x4 chassis, I went with a hightop conversion van. If you have access to a 2 post lift then it's really not bad and I replaced/repaired everything on the 4x4 chassis before I installed the hightop body... I did go with the exact same year van to make the wiring a plug in play.. Good luck..
