Just found this today, and I thought you all might enjoy.

From Vimeo:
A documentary about a journey to "The Edge of the Earth". The Gates of the Arctic National Park is the northernmost national park in the U.S. (the entirety of the park lies north of the Arctic Circle). There are no established roads, trails, visitor facilities, or campgrounds in the park.

Following the Alatna River you will see an amazing place people rarely see, including the amazing Arrigetch Peaks.

Filmed using Solar Power for Two Weeks = 10,000 combined shutter releases and video clips. I will be posting a video on my solar power set-up shortly also.

Camera:
5D mark II

Lenses:
EF 28mm F1.8
EF 70-200mm F2.8
EF 400mm F5.6

Enjoy:

That is a great video. I'm trying to wrap my head around some of this new'ish hd video stuff. Why are they using DSLR(still??) cameras for shooting video? Do the provide a higher resolution than a "video" camera? Do cameras at the level of a Canon 5D blur, or totally eliminate, the lines between video and still cameras?

Thanks
-Chris
