First off let me say this, it was a learning experience.
I have roughly $1600.00 invested and that includes trailer purchase price.
I have around 220 hours invested.

I still need a m416 spare wheel. So if anyone in montana has 1, let me know please. Gonna run the original axle this season.
I have never fabbed/welded in my life. So it was def learning on the job.

Its worked great, I think im gonna keep it for a while. As having a base camp is awesome.

Did you replace the apex (pintle, landing leg, etc.) for a more traditional ball hitch setup? Hard to tell from the pics.

Landing leg is gone. Still have it, just not tall enough to make use of. The hitch was a standard 2" welded onto hacked off pintle. I removed it and added a max coupler hitch.

I kept the front drop down leg. Grabbed a piece of thick steel, drilled a series of double holes and can adjust it a few inches up or down depending if it is behind Jeep, Taco, or Highlander (and now a Dodge minivan----don't ask!!!!). I like the old dropdown leg.
