That is one sweet ******** fishing rig you got there WELCOME to the board, glad you joined us. Now if you could just get that baby to be submersible ********, you would have yourself a sweet boat. Dude 2 words...shark tacos YUM!!!!!

If you soak your shark meat in milk first before cooking it, it'll remove most of the ammonia that's in the flesh.

After that...the meat is GREAT!! Lemon juice works too, but leaves a citric taste to your meat. Milk is more neutral tasting and leaves a nice flavor.

That's a nice Padre Island rig. My girlfriend and I spent a week on the N.S. this spring. We flew down and rented a 4x4 - put that thing through the paces, straight up Dakar style down the beach. I feel a little sorry for the vehicle, but that's what rentals are for. Its a nice remote strech of ocean to explore, except for the trash that floats in. Do you fish mostly for sharks? When I was out there about eight years ago I talked to an old guy who was fishing, but I can not remember what he was going for. Enjoy the sand!


The only 4x4 rental we could find, the hardcore offroad Nitro...at least it got us where we wanted to go.
