Okay, something completely different. If anybody can help me out with a Fairey Overdrive problem please do! Check these images:

Getting to the crankshaft oil seal requires some things to be removed.

The old crankshaft oil seal started to leak.

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. In La Paz, Bolivia the guys welded something on the shifter, so I guess that burned the oil seal on the shifter.

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. This big locknut broke the locking ring came loose and almost destroyed the back plate.

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. Some guy with a lathe cleaned the first 3 threads. Now we have to pray it will catch on the output shaft of the Overdrive gearbox?

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. The destroyed lockring and the almost destroyed oil funnel thing [I don't know the correct name, but I guess it funnels the oil back to the box].

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. Here you see the culprit. A leaking [we cleaned it] oil seal around the shifter shaft. It is a very small seal, and I worry not getting a local replacement. So we decide to get some more info on the specs of this seal before we get it out. Any ideas? Pleas get in touch.

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. This is how the Overdrive box looks on the inside. On the upper side you can see the shifter arm.

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. We put a lot of silicone stuff on the outside of the shifter lever. Hoping to temporarily hold the oil inside. Giving me time to investigate how to get a new seal. Again, if you have the info, do let me know!

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. So the locking ring was destroyed and I set about making a new one from a piece of sheet metal, but the guys decided a tack weld would hold for some time to come until I can get replacement parts. Again, if you have the info, do let me know!

The very rare Fairey 6337 Overdrive. I didn't know which kind of overdrive was fitted on the gearbox. A sticker on the car of "Superwinch" always led me to believe that this was a Superwinch Overdrive. But seeying the 6337 on the cover somehow convinced me that it is a Fairey 6337, can someone comment on this.
Adventurous greetings,
Coen
