I have aways been in meremized by archery. I can still remember when I bought my first bow at the Colorado Bowhunter Jamboree in Leadville. It was a bear takedown recurve. I have had it for over 15 years and still enjoy shooting it. Over the years I have owned several bows. I currently have a Mattews and Martin compound and two bear recurves. With me, it is the flight of the arrow. It just seems to conect me with a simplier time. I always seem to end up using my traditional equipment. I think it will not be long before I go to a long bow and start making my own wooden arrows again. It is addictive.
You my enjoy 3D shooting. I have been to several shoots were they set up a course with 3D targets of deer, elk or what ever. It is a great family outing and they take score so you can work on getting better.
