Any latest news on Fuso wheel/tire options

Going to be purchasing new Toyo’s for my ATW 19.5 and before I do I wanted to check with the knowledge base here on options.

The 19.5 wheels are crazy robust at 6000kg each or something. The tires equally robust. The tire ramps thru 10” minus quarry spalls at speed without worry. The only downside is no bead and not being able to air down significantly for sand and cushy balloon ridding lol .

Is there any newer option military or not that provided a beaded rim? I am not interested in the light truck tires on the EC and others

Thanks for your knowledge.

You're not going to find a "beaded" rim in 19.5". The xx.5 sizing is specifically a heavy duty wheel with a different rim profile. If you want to get a beaded rim, you'll have to go to sizes like 20", 21", etc.

A few different options, all with additional pain though.
1. Wheel adaptors - which'll change your offset, leverage on the bearings, etc.
2. Custom drums or hubs - pricy, probably the best way
3. Custom wheels, but do lots of research prior to selecting the company to make them. You might actually be able to find something from a Chinese company like Alex Rims, which are (or used to be?) the suppliers for the light truck EC wheels. When I looked at those I noted they also made wheels for heavy trucks, off road trucks, etc.
4. Ditching the entire axle setup and going with other axles with similar gearing. Way more work, much more custom fitting going on, but does open up other options.

Been years since I sold my Fuso, but those would be the options I'd be looking at. I'd start looking at the stud spacing, and do a search for those wheel sizes. I'd plan on calling manufacturers also, and don't depend on a web search.
