Any NBS K1500 Expo rigs?

I never made it very far with my build yet, having two kids and having to move took a lot of time away from it.

I started with power, bought the battery tray for the diesel trucks, battery, isolator, distribution wiring, fuse blocks, etc.
Added communicaiton, lights, etc.
Added the cap and fixed it up with lights, sleeping, etc
gathered up a bunch of tools and storage in the process
Better tires, skid plates, etc.

Hey eugene, I'm in the same boat. Two kids and not much time or $$$ to spend on the truck right now. I am doing what I can for now piece by piece. Just added a Masterflow 1050 compressor yesterday. I think my next piece of recovery gear will have to be a Hi Lift, as I cannot afford a winch anytime soon. I see you added skid plates to your truck. Can you give me some details on the skids? I'm thinking I could probably build some perhaps. What is the most critical component to cover underneath the truck?

Thanks

Just wondering if anyone was using a k1500 99-06 for an expo rig?

well i really want a k5 blazer to build up as an expo rig but my daily driver is an 02 z71 sierra extended cab and its slowly taking on the form of an expo rig lol. guess ill keep doing the little things to it until i can get my hands on a blazer. so since i use this truck whenever i go camping or to PINS i guess i could call it my temporary expo rig:victory:
