Because it's a disco and the rear door seal is good the back end started to float, then Keith thought water got in and sunk it enough for the rear to touch down again. But while it did float it didn't get any water in the back, it just got to the other side round the corner and I drove out. I had about 20mm in the foot wells and that was the end of my carpetsForgot to add the "floating then sinking" comment in the first vid is quite amusing/disconcerting. Did it have to be recovered or did it make it through?

Awesome pictures. I am considering adding the AEV snorkel and AEV heat reduction hood to my Jeep. I am curious though, what else do you guys do to your rigs to waterproof them and submerge them that deep? Shouldn't vehicle electronics be a concern? What else do I need to do? After the recent floods and state of emergency here in South Carolina, I had to make several water crossings with water about a quarter of the way up the doors. I took them very slow and steady to avoid sucking in water. id like to be a little more prepared now. Thanks in advance!
Extending the breather hoses on the JK is a must - Here's how I did it for less than $30 http://theroadchoseme.com/diy-jeep-wrangler-jk-breather-hose-extensions
When you install the snorkel, you should silicone up the breather holes in the bottom of the JK airbox too.
Other than that, there is not a lot you can do about the electronics, etc. It is what it is.
