Anybody looking for a Montero SR in southern Arizona? I'm down in Sierra Vista about an hour and a half southeast of Tucson. I can give contact info to anyone interested to set up a time to look at it.

I'm looking for $1500 but I'm open to offers considering it needs to be towed away.

Montero SR with stock locking differential. This truck was running good pretty recently other than noisy hydraulic lash adjusters. Here's the thing the camshaft sensor broke because the camshaft moved back a 1/4 of an inch I don't have the time to work on this vehicle so as of right now so it's not running. You'll need a new camshaft cap since the aluminum one cracked and that's how it moved forward you'll need to remove the valve covers and rocker arms and take the timing belt off and move the whole driver's side camshaft a 1/4 inch forward so that a new camshaft sensor can be put on and the vehicle should run with no issues. Bring your mechanic or yourself and come take a look we can work out a deal. The vehicle is worth $2100 on KBB in fair condition.

You'll need to tow it out of here since it's not running. The tires are practically brand new they've got like 3,000 miles on them. It has a brand new fuel pump, new spark plugs and wires, new battery. It also has a brand new radiator, timing belt, water pump valve cover gaskets. I also replaced and put on better aftermarket oil and transmission coolers. I've honestly spent more on it on improvements alone than I'm asking for it.
The motor was replaced and has about 130K on it. The body has about 145K miles on it. The interior is pretty beat look mainly the seats are ugly but the gadgets and seat adjustments all work. It does have a nice stereo, new speakers. The A/C system is all put together with a new receiver drier but was never evacuated and re-charged after putting in the new motor and it should be good to go once evacuated fully and recharged. When it was running it had great 4wd on the fly (you don't even have to fully stop to engage it) and took it camping did some solid off roading even in the small tires it has now I've never had any traction or clearance issue and I've towed some trailers around. A real fun truck to drive. I'm moving onto something newer and I started working a lot more hours and have 2 kids and my landlord won't let me work on it at my house.
