Anybody looking for a great camping table?

I am not being a shill or anything of the sort but I am in the process of ordering what appears to be a great camping table from an outfit in Oz.

http://www.drifta.com.au/OtherDRIFTAProducts.php (camp tables are about 1/2 way down the page)

It is not a cheap unit but we are hoping that it is the last table we have to buy for a long time. The adjustable legs are almost worth the price of admission themselves. The proprietor Luke has been great to deal with and has said that he sends a pallet of stuff over to the US (WA) every once in a while. He then has a friend forward the stuff on by UPS. So I thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone else is interested in having something sent over; now may be a good time to do it.

Cheers.

Thanks for the link. The plastic tables are similar to our current table with the flat bar across the bottom. On uneven ground it is a bit unstable so we thought the adjustable legs would be good, not for height but for levelling. The other thing is that drifta can custom make a size that fits perfectly in the trailer but you are right, they are not cheap but if it works it may be worth it.

I just picked up one of these lifetime fold in half 4' tables, its is height adjustable, and folds in half so it will fit in the back of my runer quite nicely.

it was 49 bucks at sport chalet.:wings:

I agree! I got one earlier this year at Sam's Club for around $24. The 4ft table folds in half into a flat and compact 2'X2' square. The size makes it easy to stow flat on the floor horizontally or flush against the side vertically.

The table is very sturdy and quick to set up and pack up.

Here is the table of my choice from Snow Peak.
It is so fast to setup and very nice to touch as it is made from wood. The newer ones are made from bamboo - what is heavier than the plywood they used before. I was first skeptic if the table can survive long trip on my roof rack and the general rough off road terrain. No problems so far. I highly recommend.

REI lightweight table

I have this table in the ALPs version before REI bought them last year. It is a great sturdy table and big enough to be useful. It has one adjustable leg. It takes a minute or two to setup but is really lightweight and stores small. I love it. I will be adding a 24inch table as well. I felt the 24inch table alone is too small a workspace when you have a stove out. No other space to work. This table is 54 inches and works great.
