There is a guy here in Utah that has an M101 and has been pulling it with a Disco. He currently has the trailer (with RTT) for sale because he felt that it was just too much weight for the Disco to drag around.

Hello, The disco td5 and the m101a2, its perfect with camping offroad and onroad.

while you could probably get away with towing an M101AX with a disco, it would probably suck.. I just got back from a week up in northern california and towed and M416 (m101CDN actually) but coming back down 395 with my tired 180xxx mile disco there was whole lot of downshifting on the long grades on they way back home even with that trailer.
