Anyone able to haul a camping trailer from PA to CA in the next couple of weeks?

I'm buying an Adrenalin Blast camping trailer from a gentleman in PA and hoping that by some miracle, there's a trustworthy soul in our community that's looking to do a road trip from the east coast out to CA (I'm in San Francisco but I could meet you elsewhere in CA if necessary) and would be willing to haul it out with them sometime in the next few weeks (ideally early October but could be as late as end of October).

Trailer is 14' long, 6' wide, about 3' tall and 1,500 lbs. (Your vehicle would need to have a Class III hitch on it, and to be safe, I'd recommend you have a 7 pin trailer connector (not 4 pin) and ideally have a brake controller).

Here's my offer:

1) I'll pay your gas money to drive cross country (I'm hoping in $500ish range)
2) You can use the trailer as you go cross country (so long as you take super good care of it!)

Please PM me if you're interested & able to help!

Here's a pic of a trailer just like it, so you can get an idea of what it would be like to haul:

Why not simply drive your own vehicle to pick it up??

I am definitely considering renting a vehicle out East and making a road trip out of it. Just don't think I can make the timing work.

Digger-Dan re: fair trade... I'm mainly hoping to find someone who's making the trip cross country anyway and wants me to cover their gas money + get use of the camper en-route. It's definitely a trade I'd be willing to make if I were about to head West anyway! Plus I'd rather pay a forum member for gas money than pay some random shipping company.

This is a fun request and at least it made me look at my schedule and considerate it! At some point in time we are going to have a teardrop built for us from a guy in Southern California and I will likely ship my cruiser out there then fly out and drive it back.

Shipping just the trailer is really really expensive so this could be a win-win situation for the buyer and another adventurous participant.

Sounds like a great offer for someone who is already marking the trip or has some free time for a low/no cost road trip.

On this note I've had good luck with Uship. Towing a trailer shorter distances (AZ to CO) seemed to run $300 to $500, with East Coast to Colorado being somewhere in the $600 to $800 range if you aren't in a hurry.

Having SoCal Teardrops build the trailer? I hope so as I love mine!
