Anyone 'daily' or do a lot of miles in a Grenadier?

I've done 19,000 miles in mine now, daily driving and a couple of 2000 mile trips, I like it, it's comfortable and the diesel is ok for economy if you stay under 60. cruising at 80 burns a fair bit of fuel. It's fantastic for towing. Definitely a keeper.

I am currently driving a 2013 200 with BFG tires on steel wheels as a daily driver. Any thoughts on how the Grenadier does on the highway at 80 mph. Reality is that I end up doing that quite a bit. I briefly test drove one and not sure on the noise and power level at those speeds in comparison. Thanks.

It's fantastic. It's a brand new vehicle with a BMW turbocharged 6 and an 8 speed gearbox.

A close friend of mine just did a few thousand miles towing a 3500# TT and kept the cruise on 78 mph on the highway. I thought that was insane but he says he did it and he's not really one to exaggerate.

I have 6,000 miles on mine. It’s fine on the freeway, but it was designed as an overland or offroad vehicle and that is where it shines.

This with 5-digit mileage now, how has it been? My wife is really wanting one, which I’m trying to dissuade her from. She does not offroad. And if we do, we’re taking my Jeep or the old Sequoia.
I’d imagine daily driving it wouldn’t be as comfortable as her Toyota Highlander. Or as practical.
