This was from a week long trip through Utah. Those bloated Landcruisers really make it look small.

Driving the Pinzgauer has certainly taught me patience on the road so the lack of power with the Tacoma was not hard to get use to. The Tacoma seems down right luxurious in comparison with a solid roof, roll up windows, air conditioning, and power steering, especially off road. Neither vehicle is what I would consider to be dangerously under powered.

Your right in that the perception of power is all relative. Many folks today think a vehicle is under powered if they can't maintain 80mph while driving up the steepest freeway hill with the AC on.

I find with a slower vehicle the journey gains in importance relative to the destination 8)

I do... LOVE it. But it has to fit your lifestyle, too. Am single so don't need the extra space.

It is also supercharged... lots of fun offroading when all the wheels are receiving power.
