Anyone familiar with the company Heaters4you?

Hi All,
I am thinking about purchasing a Planar 2D heater from these guys.


Has anyone dealt with them?


Is the 2D heater large enough for a high top extended that has floor, ceiling, and some sidewall insulation. I am thinking down to zero F.


I am questing there would be no warranty with these.


Price is around $450.

Never heard of them. From the box it looks like it might be russian.

I would sink that 7000 BTU would be enough to heat a hightop, assuming you have reasonable insulation. I always wonder about how noisy the fan might be though.

Is your van a diesel?

Hi Kevin,
I see you have a 78 fj45, I have a 65 fj45. It is slowly coming back together.

My van is gas and because I sense the diesel heaters are less problematic, I am going diesel.

I'll be interested to hear how it works out for you. Report back on the install and performance.

I suppose if you are hauling diesel you could now look into a diesel stove as well.

Good luck with the 45. I think I have seen posts of yours on MUD.
