I was so hoping to attend this year but work sent me across the country for a couple weeks and I'm sadly missing it, again!

I thought it was primarily a VW event? But looking at the actual website I do see a Toyota and Mitsubishi on there so maybe it's opened up now.

I went last year and had a blast. Just started a new job, so I've got limited vacation so I'm bummed to be missing it!

To clarify, it has strong VW roots, owing to the folks who started the event, but it was never limited on who could attend.

Last year there were literally hundreds of non-VW vehicles, everything from skoolies to converted Euro ambulances to truck camper and vans of every stripe.

It's part music festival, part "#vanlife" gathering. There's generally a family area and a "sans family" area. I was told, "if you're not into drum circles, park up that way" when I entered.

Lots of music, beer, and wine. Packs of feral children roving the lanes. Bonfires and live music every night.
