Anyone have experience with the FRONT RUNNER EASY-OUT AWNING 2M?

Considering one of these. Looks stable, has options for detachable side panels, and is cheaper than other awnings. Wondering if anyone has any good/bad experience with this awning. Or has one and wishes they had an ARB or other brand.

I have a few Front Runner products and they have been great that's what led me to pick up their particular awning. I've had no issues with The Front Runner awning, everything straight out of the box has been great I have used it throughout the desert season the past 5-6 months. Good luck

Well I've had the awning for two trips, one to Pismo Beach and one to Mendocino National Forest. Overall I like it a lot. Definitely worth the money. Provided much needed shade at Pismo and quickly deployed during a sudden rain storm at Mendocino National Forest. It's a little challenging for one person to setup and takedown, much easier with two people. It's possible I just haven't figured out the best way yet.

The construction of the legs feels a little shoddy. The material is high quality, but they want to slide apart easily which makes for some comedy watching one person trying to set it up. However, after that happened a couple times I realized the importance of keeping the legs locked at all times. Also, there are rubber stops on the legs that fall off constantly. I'm thinking of using some glue to keep them in place. Otherwise it's really great. It's light, relatively easy to setup, doesn't require ropes and stakes (but has them just in case), and the fabric and storage bag are high quality. One more point, it's designed to work with the Frontrunner rack system, but you can make it work with other racks with some ingenuity. I used some framing plates at Home Depot, but will eventually replace those with some custom cut steel mounts, when I get around to making those.

Is it easy to remove the awning between trips? Do you end up with nuts rattling around in the rack tracks?
