I am selling this car for a friend - would make a great cheap vehicle for the winter or to drive down to South America!

1999 Subaru Outback
This car was owned by a friend of mine who came from Paris to study in San Diego for 2 years. She has now moved back and we need to sell the car.
We just completed a long trip from San Diego to the Grand Canyon, to Las Vegas, to Death Valley and finally to Lake Tahoe with no problem whatsoever.
While not new, this is a great vehicle which is perfect for the winter and is extremely reliable.
Vehicle Data:
-currently registered until Sept 2014 (low registration fee of $94/year)
-pass smog last year (08/06/120 and will smog again if buyer needs it)
-200002 miles (feel like half that)
-Automatic
-Clear title
Vehicle Details:
Mechanical:
New struts (shocks) on all 4 wheels and brakes at 178335 miles (12/16/11) -- Receipt for $1290.63
Car handles and ride perfect -- no noise or vibration
New Battery on 5/20/13 (with receipt)
Almost new Yokohama Tires
Transmission shifts fine (no slippage)
Engine very healthy -- cruise 80 mph no problem. Also very frugal on fuel.
No exhaust leak.
Alternator, 2 CV Axles, and Rear Main Seal replaced on 03/28/11 -- Receipt for $1066.02
Brand new knock sensor
We have been told by previous owner that head gasket/timing belt have been done in the past but unfortunately no receipt. They are dry and there are no coolant leak.
Electrical:
Absolutely everything works as it should.
A/C blows very cold.
Heater works perfect.
Power locks/Power Windows/Cruise Control works 100%.
Original Fog lights work.
All Dome lights work.
Interior:
All original including the top of the line (in 1999. . .) Panasonic Dolby radio.
No tear or rip in the seat.
Driver seat is sagging a little bit.
A few scratches in the door panel.
Carpets are in good shape.
No crack on dash.
Driver and passenger airbags.
Could use a good vacuum
Exterior:
Original Paint.
Absolutely no rust -- the car has been in California since first delivery.
A little bit of clear coat pealing on the hood scoop.
A few dents all around, the bigger one being on the top of the rear hatch.
Original bumpers with a couple scratches.
Windows has a couple barely noticeable chips, but no crack.
Rear tailgate struts are working fine
Factory roof rack
$3100 or best offer...really needs to go.
