Anyone remember or know of this EXPO Rover?

Ok this is all I have of this rig, I was told it was a mid 70s 109 series III. It was a French guy who built the thing and headed north, I was told it was a double decker so to speak. There was a roof off of a 88 grafted to the top of the 109s top. I dug the rear doors and K members out of the snow this last winter along with some pretty large window gaurds made from expanded metal. This rig must of been heavy and slow, I here the driver fell asleep along the road and rolled it over. I was just wondering if maybe someone could reconize this rig from this mid door I have.

Thanks Ed

Man, you could almost hang that on a wall—it's that purdy!

It will be cool to see if anyone remembers anything about this trip!

me too

dude!, man!, I was thinking the same for the wall art! hanging above the bar of course.

("dude!, man!" - only seemed right to start my sentence althought it was way before my time. )

...what do you have that is garage hanging worthy to trade

Hmmm. An new old-stock "desert water bag" in really nice shape. An antique Orvis Arcticreel that was owned by Robert Montgomery. A huge old Veedol service sign that's surely too big to ship. I'll have to poke around.
