Hey Yall! i was wondering if anyone has any experience running the Powerbrake BBK on a 4th gen? been running the stock setup with EBC greenstuff pads for ya know 20 years now and I'm heavily leaning towards a brake system upgrade.

No experience with them, but they look very nice. If you've got the money for them why not. Does your use really necessitate it though? Or would your money be better spent on a GX460/5th Gen setup?

Be cautious with the lack of dust boots, their calipers only use piston seals, by all means its fine, but if you live in anywhere that can get salty, it'll damage the piston bores, which then seals, and just leaky calipers.

StopTech uses dust boots and they are standard size, easy to repair.

I installed the Powerbrake kit on my Tundra about 2.5 years ago, and honestly one of the best mods I've made. The 1st Gen Tundra brakes are marginal at best, and my truck is heavier than most so good brakes are a must. It's a fairly easy install, and you don't have to mod anything else on the system.

I have the X-Line for the fronts and the D-Line for the rears. I really like them. Major improvement over factory. Running near GVWR and tow a squaredrop trailer. I would by them over again if I had too.

I use powerstop rotors/z26 pads on my factory calipers, fresh fluid, stainless lines. Stops great. I'm in a built up GX470 which is basically your rig but heavier. A lot of people don't understand how to downshift on grades. Same goes on trails. I barely use the brakes even coming down Eisenhower tunnel.
