Anyone start a non-profit/NGO

Since I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up I've been scheming up ways to work overseas. Yes, I've actually spent some years working overseas and just finished up my latest which was two years in Malaysia.

With that in mind, I got to wondering what it would take to set up a non-profit for working in rural areas teaching a needed skill in under-developed countries. As near as I can tell what I have in mind isn't being done where I want to do it (how's that for evasive ).

If anyone has any information on how to go about doing something like this I'd be interested in talking to you.

Hello Robert, where exactly would you like to do this? We are a non-profit based in the US and we support the work of many local NGOs in different parts of the world. And my other question is whether you're open to working with others. Thanks!
