Yum, I think I will make this for dinner tonight. Best to try new things at home. Easier to order pizza at home than if you are out on the trail.

For moab, you bring the ingredients, I have the DO and charcoal ok?!?

I enjoy dutch oven cooking now that I have one, its pretty clean as far as the remnants of coals and you only have one pot to wash.


I dont get too fancy when I use it, just ribs or baked beans usually.

I don't know. We are going to be on a tight schedule putting a lot of miles in a short time and may not want to spend most of a day in one location. I will pack the wok though. I think a tour of Brice & monument valley is more interesting than Guinness steak pie.

What we could do is a weekender at Big Basin, Phiffer or someplace close with half a day scheduled for fixing dinner. Or if we can dig up a trailer I can bring the smoker & spend 10 hrs or so smoking a brisket or rack of ribs. :chef: :campfire:

How come there's no smilie of a horizontal smoker??
