I purchased the new style macbook 13" several weeks ago. I bought the lowest model, i think it has 2.0 ghz processor and 2gb of RAM. I could be wrong, I just can't remember.

Anyways, for what I use it for, it works great. Minor photo editing, web surfing, music, etc etc. The only downside, I manage to freeze it up sometimes. I am generally hard on computers - running multiple programs at once, working and clicking quickly, etc. I get the pinwheel more than I would like. If I had to do it again, I would upgrade the processor.

upgrade the ram. If you're photo editing and have a ton of windows it's using a ton of RAM. I'd upgrade the RAM and then i'd think you'd be better off.
