Apple recently lowered the price of its refurbished 4th generation iPad and iPad Mini models. The refurbs now cost 15% - 20% less than the corresponding retail models. Older 2nd and 3rd gen iPads are available at greater savings.
Example: iPad Mini 32 GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $469 refurbished vs $559 retail, a 19% savings
All refurbs carry the same warranty as retail models. Shipping is included at no extra cost. I have purchased a couple of refurbished Apple products over the years, with no complaints.
