Selling my ARB Series III Simpson rooftop tent. It's been used ~40 times since spring 2015. Cumulatively it has been on my truck for about 9 of those months. The tent has never been packed up or stored with moisture in it, and reflects that in its condition - No mildew/rot/anything. I'll outline the condition of everything:
Top: 7/10 condition. I would say better but on the base of the sleeve where it slips on there is a tear in the fabric. This fabric is not the tent cover itself and does not affect waterproofing. The cover is just as water/weatherproof as the day it was new to clarify. You can sew a new cloth piece back in about 15 minutes but I've never bothered as it's not an inconvenience. (tear pictured)
Tent: 10/10 condition. never been put up wet, and the interior/exterior/rain fly are in perfected condition. There are still parts of the fabric that have the excess flame retardant coating (pictured) from the factory which shows how little it's been used.
Other than the design pinching the mattress cover when opening and the tear on cover (pictured), the design, condition, and build of this tent are great. Sets up in about 4 minutes or less by yourself. I am 6'2" and the thing is rock solid, I usually sleep in it with my duffel bag at my feet and still have enough room. The windows are great, you can have open air coming in through a screen on 3 sides while staying completely dry out of the rain, and if you want privacy they all close up. Also, this tent does not need to be staked down after setting up like some on the market.
The tent and I are in Whitefish, MT, may be able to meet up regionally. Cost is $1600 new, just going to a camper shell. Feel free with any questions!
