HI,
Great pics. I love Moab too. You have made me want to jump in my Jeep and trek to Moab again. Thanks.

Awesome, Chris! Was this your dad's first time to the Moab area?

We have a few trips planned for October...let me know if you are interested...

It was the first time my wife and my father had been there, they both enjoyed it very much! Give me a PM with the dates you are planning to go...

Nice pics.

A few of us from Sacramento and looking at planning a trip to Moab/Canyonlands the end of October (23rd thru 29 or so). I love that area of the country. We will have three rigs with us, modified for overlanding, not rock-crawling. 2000 Disco (lift, armour, dual batts, etc), 2000 Range Rover (sliders, armour, dual batts), 2001 Range Rover (sliders, armour).

We are just starting the planning process, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know. We plan to be camping/roof-top-tenting the whole trip. Thanks.

Great Pictures, it reminds me off what Edward Abbey writes:

“There are several ways of looking at Delicate Arch. Depending on your preconceptions you may see the eroded remnants of a sandstone fin, a giant engagement ring cemented in rock, a bow-legged pair of petrified cowboy chaps, a triumphal arch for a procession of angels, an illogical freak, a happening. . . . If Delicate Arch has any significance it lies, I will venture, in the power of the odd and unexpected to startle the senses and surprise the mind out of their ruts of habit, to compel us into a reawakened awareness of the wonderful—that which is full of wonder.”
