It may not be an "Adventure Trailer" but it was an adventure to pull that trailer down to Kenai with 4 adults and all the gear for a dip netting weekend

Latest Photo, well almost. I just got the jeep back from the install of the Gen-Right Fuel Tank and I am dreading my first fuel stop. 19.5 to 31.5 gallons.

Little lift and larger tires on the trailer with a weight distributing hitch and maybe support on the rear of the Jeep and that'd be a sweet setup.

hey paul,
we have the same truck, aside from your fake rubicon sticker..haha:sombrero:

can you answer a question...does the ARB bar have the winch sitting feet forward or feet down? looks like they're feet down...

What i liked about the ARB bull bar on my toyota 4runner when i had it, was the fact that it had a feet forward orentation, so that the load on the winch was pulling "downward" rather than "forward" on the little feet of the winch.

That is a great example of a LJ Expedition set up. It should do just about anything well with few drawbacks. Congrats on the planning  . I like the color.......

I have put alot of highway miles on my LJ loaded, it does well with a 3" lift and 285's. But I have to tell you four people, a trailer and HILLS!!! Wow that must have been a hoot..... ...I admit you found the few drawbacks, room for 4 and power on the open road.....

I would be interested how much your rig weighs as mine is a heavy beast and yours is gaining fast. I have looked at those variable rate springs your lift has in the rear, so I understand how much your LJ was crying for mercy in that pic. I am using Air lift bags in my springs for now and they work fine, but wonder if Nth springs would work better.......

BIGdaddy...

The winch feet mount down, bolts are vertical...........
