Sent them money 3 days ago via paypal....nothing...no shipping notice...they don't answer the phone ever! I'm used to Amazon, you order something and its at your door in 48 hours. Oh well...

3 days? Ya, I think Amazon has ruined you!

I expect to hear something within a day or two but I don't have a cow if it takes a couple of days. Just ordered some steel the other day and called after a week of not hearing anything. Fortunately they answer and told me it would be out the next day.

Love Amazon, order first thing in the A.M. and get it tomorrow night, with free shipping! Give them a few more days before you get worried.

IIRC Brett from Ark Australia is ususally really responsive. Have you tried sending him a PM? FWIW I remember seeing something on their facebook page about being on holiday through easter.

I agree that Amazon has everyone spoiled. Ordered some stuff from the UK for my Rover and It ended up being dam near a two week process before everything even shipped. Once everything shipped though it was here in my hands in three business days.

i agree Amazon has spoiled everyone but would argue it's also a role model. sounds like the OP got the attention of the right people.

Amazon a role model? We are in a age of "right now" and this has given way to major issues of business models changing our culture. Look at companies like Amazon and Wal-Mart and how they have put profit over community. This is the main reason I like to give my dollars to companies that frequent and support expedition portal.

A couple days for a company to get back to me, good!!!! I hope they are with their families, on vacation, or having fun somewhere.

maybe true. but when paper towels and ho-hos go on sale, everyone seems to forget their standards and gets in line.

Hi to all

just wanted to let everyone know that Ark will be closed during the Easter break we close at 430pm Friday 02/04/2015 Sydney Australia Daylight savings time and will re open on Tuesday 07/04/2015 at 9am Sydney Australia Daylight savings time.

you are still able to order from the USA website with no problems, its just if you ask a question we wont be in a position to reply until after the 07/04/2015.

If i get mobile phone reception i may log on and check if i get the chance, take care and hope you all have a happy safe Easter with family and friends and that you get spoiled by the Easter bunny.
