What you can only barely see in middle frame of one of the photos is a wooden body sitting, in one piece, on the ground. Its from 1953 and in one piece with minimal damage. Its a treated ash that stands up to wear and tear pretty well. If you treat it like you would a car that rusts, youll be fine.
