Grand Lake. It’s hard to find a bad photo location here, conversely, its hard to say what makes a really good photo here. It’’s just a super scenic location.
Taken a few weeks ago on South Arrow Lake near Fauquier (which is BC's most carefully pronounced ferry crossing ("Folk yeah" is correct, not the other...). When I was lining up the shot, I had a flashback of my X mother-in-law and her sister, but am bigger than dwelling on ancient history....
Thx mucho. That was taken on a shoreline hike on a stormy, early fall day, out along the point of Fort Flagler on the Olympic Peninsula, east of Port Townsend.
Last call, bass fisherman on lake in northern Florida in the declining light of day colored with light wood smoke from distant controlled burns. They/we were being noisily serenaded by the deep rumble grunting of a big bull alligator patrolling this cove and warning off competitors (it was mating season).
Here's a series of photos from late October. All taken around the Missouri River, in Missouri; more specifically near St. Charles, Hermann, and Jefferson City.
