My November pre-run plans are getting shelved. Grumpy's weak trans appears to be getting beyond what Lucas can help.

I'm hoping to take my first off road trail late this month up in big bear to test out the vans abilities, hopefully everything will go smooth and I can gauge what type of terrain its capable of without damage. If I can successfully run gold mountain I will achieve what I set out to do with the vehicle.

Terry, hope things go well for you.
I'll be swapping Grumpy's trans next week, probably the fuel tank too, since I have an uncrushed one sitting around. Looks like I have an off-road park trip planned first week of January and I still hope to make a Moab pre-run, probably early next spring.

I have to swap my gas tank too, but because of the galvanizing peeling off the interior of the tank from rust. Funny that I have rust inside my tank but nowhere else on the van. I'll take pics if the trail is open and I can make it through.
