There are a few issues, however, worth noting. Coverage is available only in the U.S., Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and territorial waters.

No Canada, Mexico, or Central America, South America coverage for us overlanding from the States.

My understanding from talking to current providers is that sat coverage can be spotty in Alaska as well.
