Anyone interested in a 6' longbed Tacoma Habitat?

I'm thinking about trying run lighter for the next year or two for more solo trips.

How was this mounted? Was it drilled through the bed?

All Gen I Tacoma’s are attached by drilling through the bed rail. The mounting only gets complex with the composite beds on the Gen II and Gen III

I want to add carpet to the truck box sides, any leads on carpet to match and which spray glue?

The BedRug is great. It is padded to be kind on knees and feet. It also cuts down on dust intrusion.

I love absolutely everything about these except for the fact it doesn't open towards the front. What are the odds of ever producing a version that hinges the other direction?

You mean like mine? You'll have to build it if you want it, AT didn't build this for me but you can certainly buy a Habitat top and get to cutting!

yeah, it's a huge problem.

when you're trying to show it off in a parking lot when you back into a spot and can't open it because trees, light poles, other vehicles, etc are in the way. you end up looking like an idiot and a loser.
