It looks like there are at least 3 ex ESB trucks listed
I bought mine from a similar auction for less than €3k

I spoke with the ESB guys today. They will probably have no more than one auction of these vans in the next 12 months.

Nice thought - but they're entered without reserve. So they will be sold. And it is only € not £

ianc, with your comment about probably only 1 auction a year of these vehicles, do you know if there is still a supply of them within the system that will be filtering out? Or have they been superceded by something else? Just trying to gauge if this is likely to be an on-going drip feed for a few years ...

The latest registrations I've seen are '04. They have switched to Canters in the last few years and maintain Unimogs for the rough stuff. They definitely still have '03 and '04 Varios on the road though

So if the current ones they're letting go are '02 then perhaps there'll be some more coming on to the market in the next year or two... fingers crossed!
