For sale is our Trak Shak off road camp trailer build in Australia for the harsh conditions of the outback As far as I have found, there are only 2 in the US. It’s been a blast for our family, is in very good condition and has been a conversation started wherever we go.
$8,500 OBO.
Here's a link to the manufacturer's website: http://www.trakshak.com.au/trailer-specifications
When we bought the trailer I wanted something that would let us sleep off the ground, protect us from the weather, was easy to tow, and rugged--but not so comfortable inside that the kids would spend all day in the trailer. It’s been perfect. We’ve camped in the Uinta mountains, San Rafael Swell, across Idaho and Oregon.
The solar panels do a great job keeping the battery charged which powers the included 80 quart Dometic freezer/fridge. There are also ample 12V outlets inside and out for various lights, fans, speakers, chargers, etc.
If not familiar, the trailer folds open with 2 queen beds off the ground, and a large on-ground living area. We have but never used the additional enclosure which has room for another ground level queen air mattress, and the mosquito net that surrounds the awning making the total living space when set up about 6x the size of the trailer when closed up.
Includes original kitchen setup with 3 burner Camp Chef stove, griddle, grill attachment, 2 10# propane bottles, and dishes.
Room on the sides for 9 jerry cans (water or fuel) plus 2 10# propane tanks. Includes a polyblock hitch.
All 3 tires are brand new full size 265/75/R16.
It can be set up and broken down by 1 person in about 45 minutes.
Call/text me with any questions or to set up a time to take a look.
