I'm liking the progress. Good to see it put together finally. Two questions, what headlights are those and when does suspension work start?

Mid 90's BMW 5 series projectors and suspension work will be starting in the next couple of weeks hopefully.
Gen2 front suspension and axles with hydraulic bump stops in place of the factory kit to start out.

This is fantastic! Makes me think about building a CSM again... =X

Any plans for wheels/tires/gearing? I'd be hesitant to bet on a 4.5 0-60 with stock gearing and oversized tires. But, it WILL be quick, and I'm sure that it will be ridiculous fun! I wish I had 1/10 of your fab skills.

...I didn't notice, what did you do for a turbo?

The turbo is an evo8 twin scroll with twin scroll manifold.

Sorry I don't have any close ups of the modifications, but the input and output were moved and the end tanks were segmented to make the radiator multi-pass for better cooling efficiency (the red circles are the the tank segments to redirect flow)

On my 88 raider's front differential we lowered it by modifying the bushings in order to clear the oil pan on the 2.4l engine we also have, this can maybe be a future mod for yours

What was done on the hood?

It's a pressure/flow vent that has a two fold benefit, it allows the pressure that builds up under the hood another path of escape reducing hood lift. You get increased front end stability at higher speeds and the intercooler and radiator can evacuate more efficiently from the pressure drop as well. It also lets heat escape more readily

So the suspension plan is going to be adjustable coilover up front with longer arms and hydro bump stops and 4-link rear with either coilover or seperate coil/shock in the rear.

stay tuned!
